Hi. Am I the first to post on this forum? I am pleased to see there is now a forum all about my favourite place, St Ives. I first visited 3 years ago and now come down from East Anglia twice a year. I love it.Its my spiritual home.
I hope the forum goes well and there will soon be lots of new members.

That must make me number three then. I'm also a St ives groupy and just adore the place, that much that I've produced my own website. So why not have a look, Its called www.love-stives.co.uk and I also have my own forum so feel free to register and contribute as much as you like. Hi all, well in that case I'll take 4th place.... I just adore St Ives, I have had many happy times down there, I go every year.
I'm back down there on the 27th June for a week, any of you peeps there during that time?
I'm really glad to have found this Forum, I just hope it picks up a bit... Where do you guys normally stay when your at St Ives?
I often stay at St Ives Holiday Village, a nice holiday place over in Lelant, it works out really cheap as I use the place as a Base (place to sleep)

Oh well add me to the list of St Ives groupies.
Hubby spent every 6 week school holiday in St Ives then we went every Xmas and New year for years.
New year was a treat. We stood in doorways and watched the madness. Best time of our lives. My kids know when I win lottery I am going to buy St Ives (sigh)

Just found this wonderful forum.  I came on honeymoon to St Ives 21 years ago and have been every year since.  Now my daughter is also hooked on St Ives foregoing Legoland etc to spend more time in St Ives.  You just can't beat it.

Only 2 weeks to go, I cant wait...

only seven weeks .. just far too long to wait

Lol, how nice to know there are other St Ives groupies! My family has been holidaying there for years- my son is the sixth generation to go there. And my grandpa's just bought a house in Hayle. We're coming down tomorrow- I can't wait!!!
