Posted 18/03/2009 01:11:48 AM | | It would be the late 1970s when my love affair with the most beautiful part of Englands green and pleasant land began.Travelling down with my parents, sister and grandparents in my dads Triumph 2000 (6 of us crammed in!), pulling our caravan the 350+ miles from Sheffield to Carbis Bay.Taking what seemed like an eternity, back then, to get to the Little Trevarack campsite, not so little now however!Year after year i would spend my family holidays in St.Ives where i hold many fond memories.
To this day i continue to return with my wife and kids, and they too are equally taken in by the place.
I simply can't wait for the 25th July when i shall be coming down once again, for a fortnight.
