I presume you mean the one that is opposite the fudge shop on the fork in the road called Firehouse Bar and grill? It is a modern looking place that is pulling in the crowds. Not been in but worth a visit. |

Thanks for the info, that's great. Can't wait to get down to St Ives which will be in the next couple of weeks!! |

Tesco's sounds like a reasonable alternative in terms of getting bits and bobs and not having to go out of town to do so - hope they still stock a little selection of kids toys etc though as my girls used to love popping in there to spend their pocket money! |

any more news yet on what it will become? --Last edited by dof on 2009-11-08 14:11:33 -- |

(Tesco) I hope not. The fact there are virtually no 'chains' in the town is the reason it remains the place it is. I would prefer it if Subway was out of town. --Last edited by Chy Sunny on 2009-11-08 20:18:46 -- |

There is activity in Woolies, maybe I asked the wrong question but they were not saying who is moving in... |

wellworths maybe. lol. I hope it's something decent. I think it would be wrong to open another gallery or restaurant. Something for the people that live there, not for the visitors. Matt. |
